A new computer charger for an Asus Eee PC 1005HA Seashell?

I have an Asus Eee PC 1005HA Seashell and my charger is shot to hell. I've dropped the computer quite a few time while it was plugged into the charger and now it's bent worse than an a broken finger. I tried to straighten it out with a hammer, but stopped for fear of not being able to use it after I was done. Anyway, there was no need for this useless explanation, in short I need a new computer charger for an Asus Eee PC 1005HA seashell, and I really want a name brand charger but I can't find one no matter how hard I look. I love all those names!!! Emmeline is super cute and Rosalie is nice too. Adelyn is lovely! Genevieve is unique but really adorable! And Charlotte is classy but spunky at the same time! The other day I was at a pool party with my friends and my one friends (not naming) confided in us and told us that last year she had some problems and did something's she regrets. Who is better, Eminem vs Lil Wayne?

I just want to hear people's opinions. Personally I'm going to say Eminem. I don't even think this is a comparison but I would like to hear people's arguments. Now Weezy fans please don't go ballistic when you read this. My argument of Eminem being better is just he's simply better at every aspect of the game. The man has arguably the best flow. Now I'm not taking away from Biggie for flow (sorry for bringing him up) but I just feel like Eminem changes his up in every song. He knows how to incorporate a rhythm to every beat he has been on. Song content easily goes to Eminem. He makes stupid jokes and **** but he knows how to make songs about serious matters and can tell a decent story. All Lil Wayne does is come up with mediocre punch lines. If they were good I wouldn't care but about 85% of them have that pause flow and are just plain awful. Delivery again goes to Eminem and lyrically it's arguable. What I mean is multi syllables. Eminem is most likely better at that but I give credit to Wayne cus he can actually be more lyrical than a lot of rappers today. His content just ruins it for him. If you want to discuss discography, I want to hear it, but my opinion, Eminem has made 3 classics (MMLP, SSLP, and The Eminem Show). Infinite was on point but not my taste, SSEP was nice because it was the beginning of the Slim Shady Era, Encore blows, Relapse had it's moments, Relapse Refill was alright Recovery was a lyrical phenomenon but a little too poppy for my taste, and Hell the Sequel was pretty raw. Now for Wayne his albums are not even that great and he puts out a nice mix tape once in a while. I honestly think only Carter I and II were his good albums. The rest are not even worth discussing. Almost all of the Droughts and No Ceilings went hard. But to end this discussion Eminem is way better than Wayne to me. Opinions?

I just ate 4 cans of sliced potatoes with onions and butter backed. pasta. brocolli. a thing of vegetarian bacon. a tomatoe and lettuce. and half a gallon of ice cream. yes I did purge. but that was only one time during the day. I do that like 5 times a day. I had an eating disorder since 14. have been in and out of hospitals. and recently went eating disorder free for 6 months. but relapsed 5 days ago. and I told my mom and the program I attend. im 19. no longer have a job to pay for food. I feel bad because I know my mom is struggling to buy this stuff. and struggling to keep herself together. cause of my ed. and suicide attempts. and cutting. I lost 10 pounds since I started again.I feel bad I know she cant afford me. and its a waste of food which Is tottally against what I believe. but yet I cant stop im so trapped in the ed. and I really dont want to stop. what should I do. I feel bad. and dont tell me to stop. j have tried. its to hard. and I have even been to remuda ranch.

Bar exam and life help.?

Would somebody please help me and give me some study/life advice? I just received my J.D. and am currently studying for the Virginia Bar exam. I’m not back in Virginia though; I’m still living where I went to law school and to be honest I’m struggling. I’m keeping up with the lectures and I’m doing tons of MBE problems a night, but I feel like I’m slacking on my outlining and essay practice. Funny thing is I’m doing that work too. I’m just so f…ing scared. No matter how hard I work and study there is always this voice in the back of my head tell me that I’m not studying right….that I’m going to fail. I’m really considering just running away from this exam. I’ve never wanted to run away from anything in my life, but I don’t want this. I’m angry all the time. I’ve been having panic attacks. I’ve relapsed into drink again. It’s just ridiculous and the weird thing is that I have no ambition of pursuing a legal career. Like I said I don’t quit anything I start, so when I had this realization a year ago it was already to late to drop out so I don’t need a then why did you go to law school?...response. I don’t know what I’m going to do if I fail this thing. It’ll devastate me and I won’t ever take it again. I don’t think I’m in the right frame of mind to take it. What should I do? Any study advice? Running in speed with an older horse?

If the horse has already been trained for speed. Then I don't see a problem with it. My friend's horse is 24 and other than trail riding, all she does is speed and barrels, and at the most recent Horse Show, they were placing 1st and 2nd in all of their speed classes! I was totally shocked when I found out her mare was 24, she always acts so much younger than that! Buut I would get a vet to check out the horse first, just incase, ya never know!

Smoking and medication (including suboxone and painkillers) deplete nutrition and a deficiency in iron and vitamin B12 causes tiredness... seriously, google to see for yourself! you might want to get a vitamin B12 injection once a month (even angelina jolie and justin bierber get them done, along with many many other people!!) and an iron infusion twice a year... if you get these, you're not going to get tired and you'll have a MUCH easier time getting off smoking. you can always get your nutrient levels checked up by the doctor/nurse. they will take a blood test to see if you're low in any of them. (you're going to have to get them checked if you want the infusions/injections).

My boyfriend has an eating disorder?

The fic was a fairly long one located on fanfiction.net, and it was about Harry and Neville, who are best friends by the beginning of the story, already vanquished Voldemort before the start of the story, and how they deal with new issues. One of the things I remember most about the story is how they kept feeding Dumbledore false versions of how they defeated Voldemort. Do you have to take medications for bipolar?

I got diagnosed with bipolar disorder and they gave me depakote and risperidal. The side effects really suck. I am super constipated, lost my desire to be creative, lost interest in sex, I am disoriented, I cant think quickly like I used to, and Im constantly hungry. Do you really NEED mood stabilizers? I have gone long periods of time without any episodes and even people on meds still relapse, so I fail to see the point of being medicated if its not even going to prevent episodes... So, I guess I am just seeking validation that I dont need them. I dont trust doctors bc they are in cahoots with the insurance and pharmaceutical companies and my boyfriend also agrees that I dont need mood stabilizers. I have taken clonzapan, ativan, and xanax in the past as needed during episodes and it has ALWAYS worked. I dont like being all doped up. Am I wrong? I know most people with mental illness dont like the meds, but I seriously hate them. I feel like I lost me.

Your drug problem will be exacerbating your anxiety and depression if not causing it. Taking more pills to calm you won't fix the problem. It will make it worse. No doctor in their right mind would give you Valium or anything simillar knowing you have drug and drink issues. Tell her about your relapse as it's highly relevant. If you want to get better then you need to commit to giving up the drink and drugs, not take more. I'm not for one minute suggesting this will be easy but it's what you have to do to get well.

Lithium "withdrawal"?

I recently stopped taking my lithium for bi-polar disorder. My doctor said it was ok to stop taking it because he placed me on a new medicine so that I wouldn't relapse into a manic episode. I have however, been suffering from some symptoms since I quit taking it a couple of days ago. I have experienced headaches, nausea, dizziness and hot flashes. I was wondering if anyone else had had these symptoms before, or any others when they discontinued using their lithium?

How do I deal with an anorexic girlfriend?

I started talking to this girl almost a year ago, and began dating her a couple months after that. The relationship went well, although I noticed some little quirks about her, like calling herself fat when she wasn't (and isn't). She also didn't eat much. The all of the sudden, she dumped me. Out of the blue, with little explanation. Well a couple months go by and we had talked but hadn't seen each other since the breakup. She calls me one night and tells me she's been in a treatment center for you guessed it: anorexia. We started dating again a month after that, and she just recently finished her stay at the treatment center and I'm very proud of her. I'm just kinda worried for her because I never want to see her live her life like how she was living it with anorexia. I've heard that relapse is likely, and I'm looking for some tips on the things I can do to help her out. I love this girl and seeing her relapse would be terrible. Anorexia led to our breakup the first time, I don't want there to be a second.

My sister has finally accepted help with her addiction to prescription pain medicine. At thirteen I was diagnosed with anorexia. I got help and gained back the weight. I stayed at an average weight for two years. But now I'm slipping into old habits. I've eaten twice since Tuesday and lost three pounds since Friday, another pound since yesterday.I'm terrified to gain weight. I workout multiple times a day. i'm sick of lying to those around me and myself. for the last few years my focus has been onlosing weigh,dieting and later binging, gaining the weight back and trying to lose it again. i can't help feeling disgust and hate towards myself at any weight,even when i get complimented for looking thinner or healthier. at 18 years old i have no real close friends as i tend to isolate myself and afraid of people getting too close. my mum knows something is wrong as she sees my unhealthy eating patterns and weight changes. she has tried to help but i push her away. i was anorexic for a few years in my childhood and relapsed a few months ago, getting down to 90 pounds but i've been binging uncontrollably and have gone up to over 100 pounds. i dont know what to do anymore! so sick of this life that is not a life...

It's great that you are sharing the struggle with anyone! You need to quit punishing yourself for the over-eating and focus on having healthy options on hand. Are there fruits you like? Veggies? Dry fruit and nuts and seeds make great stuff-your-face-for-a-moment choices - because there's so much chewing, you won't be at it long enough to be sick! Things that don't require chewing are my downfall most of the time. Put some bean sprouts and a ton of leaf lettuce in that sandwich, and you have chew satisfaction! You really need to stay fueled on a regular basis, or you will crave sugar. and common sense will take a hike until you have it.

Relapses happen, don't beat yourself up. I've relapsed many times but you can only try your best and learn from it each time. Think back over the situation and think what else you could try to do next time. You won't disappoint your therapists, they understand that it's a hard thing to get past and by telling them they will be able to help you reflect on what happened and give you support so that you can get back on track. You should definitely persue your best interests and start college. If you have really changed, your parents should see that and have no problem with letting you decide whats best for yourself. I am your age and I would want to go to college (although I cant say i have a drug addiction). Besides, youre almost old enough to make your own decisions. Recovering Anorexia! Advice please?

I have made a decision to recover from anorexia, due to recent Anemia symptoms while exercising. Plus, i've read on how unhealthy it is for the body. So i'm aware of all the health risks, and I don't want any of it. Problem is, I am terrified of gaining weight. What seems like a healthy weight to most, is like extremely obese to me. However, I have to go through with it as I already gave my word to God, and myself. I am slowly increasing my caloric intake, but am afraid I will gain weight like crazy, as my body has been in starvation mode for quite some time. I eat healthy foods, too. I am very scared of my next weigh-in. I want to be healthy and am very afraid I will go into relapse. Any advice on recovering anorexia? I want to do it so bad, I have to, its a monster inside of me. Is it possible that I've broken my toe?

I hurt it 4 or 5 days ago. There was considerable swelling the day after I hurt it and it substantially pained me, although I could still, with difficulty, walk on it. In the following days the swelling subdued nicely; although I think there might still be a tiny bit of swelling left, and the pain gradually disappeared. I could walk more easily and my toe was feeling better. However today I accidentally hit my toe and I've had a bit of a relapse. I can still walk and put a bit of pressure on it, but I hear cracking when I gently bend my toe up or down. Just wanted to know If I've broken it or that this is a stupid unnecessary question and that it's a minor injury that will heal with time. thanks :D

I am taking sertraline at the moment and easing myself off propranolol. I have GAD and depression, and recently had a relapse. I have also been referred back to a counselor, and am awaiting the appointment. You could try Monistat or one of those medicines, but I don't know if they work or not. I had one a few months ago and it went away on its own after a week or 2. I literally did nothing to get rid of it, and by the time I realized it was a yeast infection it went away before I had the chance to go to a doctor or anything. I have been seeing a phyciatrrst for 11 years and was put on a lot of medications in high dosages he suddenly ?

Stopped an antisicotic cold turkey I relapsed and experienced physical affects as well. Very depressed during A school (please help)?

He should find out about taking some emergency leave at the very, very least. That sounds like a huge mess, to be honest, but the least he can do is try to get leave. I know it's going to be a b**** because he's in training, but with his dad in the ICU, I'm pretty sure he can get it. It doesn't sound like anything is going to FIX him, but a break might be helpful. Keep in mind that he may get washed back in training because he'll miss some...but I don't think that's his biggest trouble.

Sometimes it's easy for you to get sick right after being sick because your immune system is still weak so you're vulnerable to illness right after fighting off a illness. I was 17/18 years old and tried to commit suicide after a series of events happened that brought me to a low point in life (as well as the fact I was on medicine that made it 10x worse). I was twice court ordered to stay in a hospital for about 4-5 days. I got out and went off the medicine and did therapy instead, and got much better. I left for the Army as Airborne Infantry about 15 months later and lied in the application process since I knew I would not have a relapse. Well here I am 3 years later, about to get out next month and trying to figure out what I wanna do in life. I loved the military and did 2 deployments (one to A-stan...just got back 2 months ago, and another to Haiti last year after the earthquake). Both of them I came back fine from, yeah I saw some stuff in Astan that I don't like thinking about, but I don't have PTSD and have never felt a lapse in depression even under some of the stressful situations I've been in. So do you think if I applied to a police dept (or went and got my Bachelors and then applied to FBI) that they would see I was court ordered through a civil court to a hospital stay? Could I lie about that on the app process since it OBVIOUSLY doesn't affect me anymore? I just think it's BS that some doctor that didn't even know my story goes and writes one thing down and my entire life could be changed because of that. So do you think I have a chance or should I look into something else?

What processor and video card should I get?

I downloaded Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and discovered my computer could not handle the game. I only have 224mb video card (Intel 82945G) and a Pentium 4 3.0 GHz processor on Windows XP. The needed for the game is 256mb video card and Duo Core 2.0 GHz processor (recommened 512mb Video, Quad Core 3.0GHz processor, and Vista or 7). I have enough processing speed, but not the duo core. I don't have much money to spend. I don't mind purchasing off brands and I am a fan of Amazon (although the best deals would be preferable). Any ideas on what is best to purchase and what else to consider? Also, can I have 2 processors and video cards on my computer at one time if I have room to fit both? How do you come to terms with a diagnosis of schizophrenia?

It's been about 14 months since I've been diagnosed. I've not had an episode since. But when I had my episode I had delusions, no hallucinations at all.... I don't know what in the world is going on, but I am unable to accept my diagnosis. I am finding it really hard. The only reason why I'm still on my meds is because I don't want a relapse of the situation and certainly don't want to end up in hospital (I didn't go to one in the first place, luckily). I did have a second opinion and didn't tell him what the first one said. He said I suffered from depression so I'm not sure which one to believe.

Okay so a little background information: My friend went out with a girl for like 3 months or so. During this time I became very close with who he was going out, and we became good friends. I became her outlet for relationship problems, and I was kind of "in the relationship" it seemed because at one time I was on Facebook and BOTH of them were coming to me about what they should do. It got to the point where I knew that she was unhappy in her relationship a MONTH before she broke up with him. When she actually broke up with him I was at a water park and I left my phone in the room. When I got back I had a text from him, a text from another one of my friends, and a missed call from her. I excused myself to go in the hall so I could call her back. When she picked up it seemed like she was almost in tears, she had explained that her friends had pressured her into doing it. I comforted her, all the while I was confused. In the weeks that followed she relapsed and realized that she still loved him, and talked with him to explain that she just wanted a break. However, he moved on, while she still got teary eyed thinking about him. Throughout their relationship on my part I started realizing that I had feelings for her, do to the fact that we talked a ton and had a ton in common. She didn't feel the same, but she did say that my conversations with her were a lot more exciting than her conversations with my friend. Recently near the end of school we went on a grade wide trip to a water park. Both of her friends had guys they were hanging out with and she felt like she was a third wheel. That was the first half of her day, my first half was hanging out with my friends nonstop. However me and my friends moved to the indoor part where she was with her friends. It turns out my friends ditched me, her friends ditched her, and one of my friends was also there. So we formed a three person group and we hung out a lot for the next 2 hours. She constantly talked with me about wanting to have a boyfriend and how lonely she was. Before her friends actually ditched her we were all in the lazy river and she was talking with her friend about how she wanted to have a boyfriend. Her friend suggested she went out with me (I don't know if it was sarcastic or not, but it sure seemed like it was) and me and her met eyes for a second, and then she jumped to saying "No!" and she came up with some of the worst excuses possible. It was actually kind of funny. But I digress again, whenever she went to me for advice I pointed out other people. I feel like I wouldn't be able to make her happy, so I ignore my feelings for her happiness. I talked with my friend (the one who went out with her, he's the only one who knows about my feelings for her) on the bus ride home and he criticized my lack of doing anything about my feelings for her that day, and he even told me that I wouldn't get a better chance. I told my mom by faking that I was sick and going to the dr. and having my dr tell my mom. which my dr already suspected but because I just turned 18 she could not tell. and I told my best friend while she was driving home in the car with me. I sort of said im going to arizona for a few months. at a ranch called remuda ranch. its an eating disorder program. by the way remuda ranch is deff the best treatment center for eating disorders I would suggest there to anyone. im actually going back there and this time accepting the help. I have been to so many treatment centers. other ways u can tell her. is write it down. or leave a printout about a treatment center or what is an eating disorder on her desk or somewhere she can find it. or u can tell her in the car this way she still has to concentrate on driving.as with your friend come out and just say it. shes your friend she will understand. just say I have an eating disorder and I want you to help me by supporting me in my recovery. I can't believe you've managed to achieve what you have without psychiatric support. You are doing very well but you really need to deal with the underlying reasons for your eating disorder. If you can, go to see another doctor and say you need to see a therapist. I am 33 now and have been in recovery for few years after constant relapsing into anorexia and bulimia during my late teens and twenties. I have to say that my body image is the first thing that goes when i feel bad and I still have urges to starve myself sometimes or make myself sick. I too compare myself to people who are bigger than me but think I look worse. I don't give into those urges though because u have the tools that I've learned from years of intensive therapy. I'm sorry your doctor was so unhelpful. He probably attended a one hour lecture on eating disorders as part of his training. Good luck with finding help. When you think about restricting your food, remind yourself that you've been down that road before and it didn't work out very well. X

How wrong is it to stay put until moms condition becomes desparate?

My mom has been dying for 4 years, including remissions and relapses--the first time re. which I dutifully quit my job and traveled 1500 miles just to be there if she needed me. Sucked that she only allowed my help twice that year ( i rushed her to hospital at night and stayed with her, made sure she got proper care), but whatever. Now, as it REALLY can't go past a few more months (i think???), should I quit / travel again, and end up putting my life on hold another year just "in case" something happens? I lost my first racehorse because of this, which was my livelihood. Now I risk losing the other, who is not only my livelihood but who will be my only comfort and companion when mom passes. No family left in this country. Would it be horrible to continue to race the horse a thousand miles away, and not fly back unless mom is admitted to hospital for good? or fly back now just for companionship "plus". One friend says to sell the horse as I can always get another. Another says to ask mom for help with my financial losses while I attend her (mom is wealthy--I have been getting financially worse since traveling cross country all the time to help her). I have a feeling either way I choose I'll have regrets. What does everyone else think?
